NOTICE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE CHANGE
City of Fifty Lakes Meeting Notice: The Regular Meeting of the Fifty Lakes City Council, normally held on the second Tuesday of each month, will be changed for the month of August to allow for the Primary Election schedule. The Council Meeting will be rescheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2024 at 6:00PM at City Hall.
Notice of Election & Notice of Filing Dates for Elected Positions
Notice Is hereby given, as provided by Minnesota State Statures, that a general election will be held on Tuesday, November 5,2024 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 pm for the following positions: Mayor (2-year term), Two Council Members (4-year term). The place of filing is the office of the city Clerk, City Hall, 40447 Town Hall Road, Fifty Lakes, MN 56448. Affiavits will be accepted Tuesday, July 30, 2024, to Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Monday through Friday 9am to 2 pm. One Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the office will remain open until 5 pm to accept affidavits of candidacy. The filing fee is $2.00.

“Fifty Lakes” Residents and contractors, please remember that land use permits are required for the placement, construction, and/or replacement of all structures including structures that do not have permanent foundations such as plastic sheds, vinyl carports (hoops buildings/fabric structures), etc. Please contact the zoning administrator, Justin Burslie, at (218) 895-4151 or justin.burslie@sourcewell-mn.gov prior placing or adding any structures on your property.”

The City Hall and Bar are no longer a drop off location for this program. Nearest drop off stations are located at Super One Foods and Cub Foods.
